OKAVANGO AIR RESCUE — PATRONAGE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering as a patron of Okavango Air Rescue (OAR) and completing payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your registration.
2. Membership Period
Patronage is valid for a period of twelve (12) months commencing on the date on which payment is received and confirmed by OAR. Your membership expiry date is stated on your membership card.
3. Services Covered
OAR will provide emergency medical air rescue services exclusively to current, active patrons. Rescue services will only be rendered to the registered patron named on the membership card. OAR reserves the right to verify patronage status prior to or following any rescue operation.
4. Non-Transferability
Patronage is strictly personal and non-transferable. It may not be assigned, lent, or otherwise made available to any other person. Any attempt to transfer patronage will render the membership void without refund.
5. No Refund Policy
Patronage fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to: cancellation by the patron, relocation, failure to utilise rescue services, or death of the patron. Partial refunds for unused membership periods will not be granted.
6. Renewal
Patronage does not renew automatically. It is the patron’s responsibility to renew their membership before the expiry date to maintain continuous coverage. OAR will endeavour to send renewal reminders by email but accepts no liability for failure to do so.
7. Emergency Dispatch
In the event of a medical emergency, patrons or their representatives should contact OAR dispatch immediately on +267 686 1616. Patronage status will be verified at the time of or following the rescue operation. OAR reserves the right to recover costs where patronage cannot be confirmed.
8. Limitation of Liability
OAR will make every reasonable effort to respond to emergency calls. However, OAR accepts no liability for delays or inability to respond due to weather conditions, aircraft availability, operational constraints, or any circumstances beyond OAR’s reasonable control.
9. Personal Information
Personal information collected during registration is held securely and used solely for the purposes of administering your patronage. OAR complies with the Data Protection Act of Botswana (2018). Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent except where required by law.
10. Amendments
OAR reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Patrons will be notified of material changes by email. Continued use of OAR patronage services following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Botswana. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Botswana.
